BetBlanket Basic was developed out of a personal need. As someone who models and originates sports I desired to find the best bets to match my desired side. For example, suppose I believe a weather factor is generally underrepresented in the market, and I like the over in a particular MLB game. Sure, one can glance at an old fashioned style odds screen and find the best main total price. Doing so you can maybe get the sportsbook hold down a few percent. However it is better to look at all bets that correspond to that view, both to find bets that have a higher likely EV based on market information and to diversify investment. For that reason, BetBlanket was developed and tuned for both personal and public use.

Our aim is a bit of an altruistic one. To get an easy to use, accurate, and affordable tool in the hands of casual bettors to match their opinions with what are likely their best bets. We aim to take a no frills understated approach that we hope is refreshing in this industry full of charlatans and hype.
